Why Synapse-Vienna?
Synapse-Vienna is a nonprofit organization. Its purpose is to spread medical, clinical and scientific, information to medical professionals and patients, usually with talks and discussions no longer than one hour.
Synapse-Vienna events are online only. It is not our intention to organize classical physical events. Synapse-Vienna is born out of the corona pandemic, where online events were the only option to keep information flowing.
Although our events are live, typically Wednesdays at 5:00 PM CES, they stay online and can be seen at any moment after.
Currently, we focus on two relevant subject areas: neurological diseases and pain. Accordingly, we call the events NeuroCasts respectively PainCasts.
Events that address medical professionals are CME approved; those for patients only are not.
