Communication between patient/caregiver and doctor can become very frustrating in Parkinson’s disease. There is a need for objective, accurate, and continuous monitoring of PD symptoms while the patient is at home, performing his usual daily activities. This information will allow the doctor to make the right decisions on treatment. PD Monitor is a medical device which provides continuous recording of all the major parkinsonian symptoms using wireless sensors.
The target audience of this NeuroCast are primarily patients and their caregivers.
